The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southeast Area (SEA) National Peanut Research Lab in Dawson, GA., has a requirement to furnish and install laboratory casework. The solicitation number is 12405B21R0032 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFP). The NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $39.5M. Contractors shall not directly contact the facility to discuss this requirement. During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions. The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southeast Area (SEA) National Peanut Research Lab in Dawson, GA., has a requirement for Laboratory Casework to be Furnished and Installed. The work consists of but is not limited to: The contractor shall provide and install all new casework, to include 28 base cabinets, 11 wall cabinets, two (2) sink cabinets, (4) knee space assemblies, two (2) sets island shelving with three (3) tiers of shelves each, one (1) island umbilical, and all required fillers and scribes, electrical outlets necessary for complete installation in Bldg. 4 per proposed layout drawing. This shall include final mechanical, plumbing and electrical connections. The contractor shall provide and install new casework, electrical and plumbing fixtures. The contractor shall furnish all labor and materials for the described project in strict conformity with safety, standards, laws, statutes and ordinances for a chemical/biological research laboratory biosafety level 2 (BSL2) in a federal facility. Contractors are required to be actively registered in the System for Award Management, (SAM) prior to submitting a proposal. You can register on- line at www.sam.gov. During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute the Request for Proposal (RFP). The magnitude of the project is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. The Government anticipates issuing an RFP for this requirement on about July, 28, 2021. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for these services.
