The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southeast Area (SEA) Aquatic Animal Health Research Unit in Auburn, AL., has a requirement to replace or repair & repave designated areas. The solicitation number is 12405B21R0014 and is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). The NAICS code is 237310 with a size standard of $39.5M. Contractors shall not directly contact the facility to discuss this requirement. During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions. The work includes but is not limited to: The Contractor shall provide all professional services, personnel, tools, material, and equipment to remove & replace or repair & repave the designated areas at the Aquatics Lab that is approved to meet their exact specifications and requirements. Some areas of asphalt will be completely removed and replaced with concrete of sufficient thickness and weight rating to comply with state Department of Transportation load bearing standards. Contractor will be responsible for barricading work areas but must allow access to rear of property. Contractors are required to be actively registered in the System for Award Management, (SAM) prior to submitting a proposal. You can register on- line at www.sam.gov.
