The new material applied is cementitious and must remain in dry condition until it has cured, after whichtime it can be exposed and submerged in water. Answer: The weirs in question run dry typically starting in June and remain dry for a period of several months. So while we do not have a way to stop water flow across the weir or re-direct water flow around the weir, the caps of the weirs which need resurfacing will be dry. Work just needs to be timed appropriately.
