This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 12405B21Q0156 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The NAICS code is 115113 - Crop Harvesting, Primarily by Machine. This solicitation document incorporates those provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-02. The USDA, ARS, Sustainable Water Management Research Unit (SWMRU) at Stoneville, MS intends to award a firm fixed price contract for assistance in harvesting 90 acres of corn located at two farms, and 40 acres of soybean at one farm, and hauling the harvested grain to Farmers Grain in Greenville, MS (an estimated 15 miles from fields). All crops were planted on 40-inch row spacing. The service is to be performed near Stoneville, MS 38776. Exact Locations listed in SOW. Any quotes not meeting the minimum specifications will not be considered. The government anticipates award of a firm fixed priced contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the specifications that will be the most advantageous to the government in accordance with FAR 13.106-2.
