This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 12405B21Q0137 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The NAICS code is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance. This solicitation document incorporates those provision and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-06. The USDA-ARS, SEA, Mississippi State, MS, requires an annual service contract for 1-W/D Scotch Marine Boiler located in Building #16 (PRU Feed Mill) at ARS Mississippi State, MS with a yearly renewal option for 4 additional years. Minimum Tasks include: 1. Service annually 1- W/D Scotch Marine Boiler Model# 2020D-150S at beginning of service year. 2. Provide all materials, labor, and equipment to install 1-W/D service kit. 3. Open boiler and brush tubes. 4. Replace fiber frax on front end of boiler, handhole and sight glass tube gaskets. 5. Inspect gas valve, blower wheel and diffuser. 6. Inspect all electrical control wires and components. 7. Close boiler, start up, and check all electrical and water safety controls. 8. Set combustion. 9. Conduct quarterly visual and operational inspections of the boiler. Any quotes not meeting the minimum specifications will not be considered.
