This Solicitation is a Request for Quote, utilizing simplified acquisition procedures, for a firm fixed priced construction purchase order. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Southern Horticultural Research Laboratory facilities in Poplarville, MS has a requirement for the Repair Greenhouses Project. The contractor will provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment tools, and materials to accomplish the requirements. All work shall be performed in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in the solicitation documents and its attachments. A site visit may be arranged by contacting the Location Point of Contact, Ray Morris at Ray.Morris@usda.gov or by phone at (601) 916-7282. Site visits must be scheduled in-advance. Please be prepared to wear a face mask and practice appropriate social distancing at the site visit. Quotes must be received not later than 2:00 p.m. Central, August 27, 2021 QUOTE MUST BE ANNOTATED AS SUCH AND REFERENCE THE SOLICITATIONNUMBER. Contractor shall provide a detailed Quote, which includes a breakdown that contains costs for materials, labor, and equipment, bond, insurance, etc. in order to fully and successfully complete the Statement of Work. Please review quote submission requirements described in Section L.7, evaluation factors are listed in Section M. In accordance with FAR 36.204 the estimated magnitude of this project is less than $25,000. All questions pertaining to this solicitation, including questions that arise during the site visit, must be submitted to Nicholas.Langley@usda.gov by August 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Central. Questions that are not submitted in writing or that are not submitted by August 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Central may not receive a response. Questions/answers discussed at a site visit will not be binding on the resultant contract unless submitted in writing and incorporated into the solicitation by amendment.
