This is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Southeast Area (SEA) facilities in Stoneville, MS has a requirement for Electrical Motor Control Center Project. The contractor will provide all necessary labor, materials, and equipment necessary to accomplish the requirements. All work shall be performed in accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications, and drawings contained in the solicitation documents. Contractors shall not directly contact the facility to discuss this requirement. A site visit has been scheduled for interested contractors on July 29, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Central. Participants will meet at: 141 Experiment Station Road Stoneville, MS 38776 Pre-registration to attend the site visit is required no later than July 28, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Central. Pre-register by email notification to Nicholas Langley, Nicholas.Langley@usda.gov. Provide names of personnel to be in attendance, limited to two individuals per firm. Please be prepared to wear a face mask and practice appropriate social distancing at the site visit. Quotes must be received not later than 2:00 p.m. Central August 20, 2021. Quote must be in writing and emailed to: Nicholas D. Langley USDA ARS SEA AAO Nicholas.Langley@usda.gov QUOTE MUST BE ANNOTATED AS SUCH AND REFERENCE THE SOLICITATIONNUMBER. Contractor shall provide a detailed Quote, itemized by project, which includes a breakdown that includes materials, labor, and equipment, bond, insurance, etc. in order to fully and successfully complete the Statement of Work described in this document. Please review quote submission requirements described in Section L.7, evaluation factors are listed in Section M. In accordance with FAR 36.204 the estimated magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. All questions pertaining to this solicitation, including questions that arise during the site visit, must be submitted to Ncholas.Langley@usda.gov by August 04, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Central. Questions that are not submitted in writing or that are notsubmitted by August 04, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Central may not receive a response.Questions/answers discussed at the site visit will not be binding on the resultant contract unless submitted in writing and incorporated into the solicitation by amendment. Amendment 001 is being issued to: 1. Provide Questions & Answers. 2. Provide the site visit sign in sheet. 3. Add a line item for removal of existing/install new USDA furnished genset and providing the specifications for that line item. 4. Extend the due date for quotes to August 18, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Central 5. Update the Solicitation Posting, Request for Quote document and the Construction RFQ Provisions to reflect the updated due date and incorporation of the additional line item. The previous Request for Quote document and Construction RFQ Provisions document have been removed as they have been superseded. Amendment 002 is being issued to: 1. Provide updated Questions & Answers. 2. Extend the due date for quotes to August 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Central 3.
