The U.S. Department of Agriculture proposes to award a firm fixed price contract to provide all materials, labor, and equipment to furnish a turnkey quote to provide services to repair all drywall in the ceiling of the lobby area and lower wall section of the boiler room at the USDA, ARS, Dale Bumpers National Rice Research Center (DBNRRC), 2890 HWY 130 East, Stuttgart, Arkansas USDA, ARS as well as prime the new drywall and repaint the ceiling after repairs are complete, per the attached Statement of Work (SOW). This solicitation document incorporates those provision and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-06. The Davis-Bacon Act Wage Determinations will be incorporated into this contract. In accordance with FAR 36.204 the estimated magnitude of this project is less than $25,000. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service(ARS), Southeast Area (SEA) facilities in Stuttgart, AR has a requirement to repair drywall ceiling. The contractor willprovide all necessary labor, materials, and equipment necessary to accomplish the requirements. USDA ARS SEA intends to issue a Request for Quote for a firm-fixed priced construction contract. The solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238310 with a size standard of $16.5M. A site visit may be scheduled by contacting the location points of contact Mr. Javier Delao at (870) 830-8203 or the main desk at (870) 672-9300 ext. 221. Site visits must be scheduled in-advance. A brief description of the work required is as follows: The Contractor shall furnish a turnkey quote to provide services to repair all drywall in the ceiling of the lobby area and lower wall section of the boiler room at the USDA, ARS, Dale Bumpers National Rice Research Center (DBNRRC), 2890 HWY 130 East, Stuttgart, Arkansas USDA, ARS as well as prime the new drywall and repaint the ceiling after repairs are complete. In accordance with FAR 36.204 the estimated magnitude of this project is less than $25,000. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute the Request for Quote (RFQ). The Government anticipates issuing a RFQ for this requirement, with all relevant documents, on or around July 20, 2021. The soliciation posting and related docments will specify the due date for quotes. It is anticipated the period of performance for this contract will be 60 days after receipt of the notice to proceed. This notice does not commit the U.S.Government to contract for these services.
