The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southeast Area (SEA) Aquatic Animal Health Research Unit in Auburn, AL requires that all labor, supervision, tools, and materials be provided to complete a construction project to construct a 30'x 108' x 12' pole barn at the Aquatics Lab. All work shall be performed in accordance with the terms, conditions, drawings and specifications contained in the solicitation documents. A single organized site visit has been scheduled for Monday, July 26, 2021 at 9 a.m. CST. Participants will meet at: USDA ARS front of the main office at 990 Wire Road, Auburn, AL, 36832 Pre-registration to attend the site visit is required no later than July 23, 2021. at 4:00 p.m. CST. Pre-register by email notification Site visit contacts: troy.bader@usda.gov and damian.downing@usda.gov. Provide names of personnel to be in attendance, each firm is limited to two individuals. Wearing of face masks and practicing of social distancing is required at the site visit. Quotes MUST be received no later than 2:00 p.m. CST August 6, 2021. USDA ARS SEA intends to issue a Request for Quote for a firm fixed priced construction purchase order. The solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 236220 with a size standard of $39.5 M. Contractors shall not directly contact the facility to discuss this requirement. The magnitude of the project is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions.
