The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS), has a requirement to provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials, supplies, and related transportation for installation of an HVAC system at the Animal Quarters located at its Russell Research Center located in Athens, Georgia. A detailed description of the needed HVAC system is included in the attached plans and drawings. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238220 and is being set-aside and competed between qualified small businesses. Contractors shall not directly contact the facility to discuss this requirement. A site visit will be scheduled for interested contractors. A site visit notice will be posted shortly and will include the date and time for the visit. Proposals must be submitted to the Contracting Officer, Randal Barnett, via email at randal.barnett@usda.gov. It is the contractor's responsibility to insure its proposal and any supporting documentation is RECEIVED by the Contracting Officer in a timely manner. Amendment 1 Summary: Attached document clarifying that proposals are being sought only for 'Phase 2' as described in the specifications. Amended/Updated 52.204-24 'Representation Regarding Certain Telecommunications and Video Surveillance Services or Equipment', (AUG 2020), which must be addressed by interested contractors.
