The USDA ARS requires that all labor, supervision, tools, and materials be provided to complete the New Greenhouse Construction Project at the USDA-ARS facilities in Florence, SC. All work shall be performed in accordance with the terms, conditions, drawings and specifications contained in the solicitation documents. A single organized site visit has been scheduled for Wednesday June 17, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time. Participants will meet at: USDA ARS Coastal Plain Soil, Water, and Plant Research Center (CPSWPRC) 2611 West Lucas Street Florence, SC 29501 Pre-registration to attend the site visit is required no later than June 15, 2020 by email notification to Nicholas Langley, Nicholas.Langley@usda.gov, and James Dann, James.Dann@usda.gov. Provide names of personnel to be in attendance, contractors are limited to two individuals. Wearing of face masks and practicing of appropriate social distancing is required at the site visit Proposal MUST be received not later than 1:00 p.m. July 07, 2020. Proposal must be in writing and emailed to: Nicholas D. Langley, Contract Specialist USDA, ARS, SEA AAO 2775 F&B Road College Station, TX 77845 Emailed to Nicholas.Langley@usda.gov PROPOSAL MUST BE ANNOTATED AS SUCH AND REFERENCE THE SOLICITATION NUMBER. Please include a detailed breakdown of price with various cost elements (e.g. materials, sub-costs, controllers, etc.) Additional proposal instructions can be found in Section L. All questions pertaining to this solicitation, including questions that arise during the site visit, must be submitted to Nicholas.Langley@usda.gov by June 22, 2020. Questions that are not submitted in writing or that are not submitted by June 22, 2020 may not receive a response. Questions/answers discussed at the site visit will not be binding on the resultant contract unless submitted in writing and incorporated into the solicitation by amendment. Amendment 001 is added to provide answers for questions received by the cutoff date.
