Provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the installation of four (4) Greenheck Evaporative Cooling Units, per Statement of Work and specification documents - Buildings 43 and 44 of the U.S. National Poultry Research Center, 950 College Station Road, Athens, GA 30605. A single site visit is scheduled for Friday, June 12, 2020, 11:00am ET. Contractors are limited to two individuals and must communicate their intent to attend no later than Thursday, June 11, 2020, 1:00pm ET, along with the names and titles of those attending. The information must be provided to the Contracting Officer at randal.barnett@usda.gov. Attendees must provide and wear a mask due to COVID 19, and practice appropriate social distancing. This is a pre-solicitation notice. The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS), has a requirement for the installation of four (4) 'Greenheck' HVAC units at its U.S. National Poultry Research Center located in Athens, Georgia. The government will provide the HVAC units. The requirement is only for installation of the units, removal of existing units, and enlargement of an existing concrete pad to place the units. Contractor will provide all necessary labor, materials, and equipment necessary to accomplish the installation, including providing support racks, electrical connections, sensors, controllers, and ductwork. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238220 and is being competed to qualified small businesses. Contractors shall not directly contact the laboratory to discuss this requirement. During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions.
