Proposals are requested for construction services. The USDA-ARS-SEA, Dale Bumpers National Rice Research Center (DBNRRC), 2890 Hwy 130 East, Stuttgart, Arkansas seeks a contractor to install a 'French Drain' to direct water away from Building B-1 to alleviate mold issues per the attached Statement of Work. Solicitation12405B20R0010, (attached), is issued as a request for proposals (RFP). The NAICS code is 238910, SIte Preparation Contractors. The magnitude of construction for this project is under $25,000. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to install a French Drain at the described location. All work shall be performed in accordance with the terms, conditions, drawings and specifications contained herein. Proposals must fully detail how contractor will accomplish the installation. Contractors are required to be actively registered in the System for Award Management, (SAM) in order to receive a contract award under this solicitation. You can register on- line at www.sam.gov. If you are already registered and your registration has expired, you will need to go the SAM website and update your information. A site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at 9:00am CT. Interested contractors must contact the Contracting Officer by Tuesday, June 9, 2020, 2:00pm CT if it intends to participate in the site visit. The names and company titles of the individuals intending to visit must be provided to the Contracting Officer. No more than two individuals per contractor will be allowed. All visitors must wear masks and observe appropriate COVID 19 social distancing precautions. Visitors must provide their own masks. Due to the urgency of mold remediation efforts through installation of a French Drain, no extensions of time will be granted on the due date for proposals.
