Plains Research Center has a requirement for: Quantity of one (1) Large Volume Cotton Seed Treatment System Shipping and Handling to FOB Contractor shall deliver the required supplies in a fully functional state to include (all materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, labor, installation, and training). Plains Research Center 2611 West Lucas Street Florence, SC 29501 ATTN: James Dann Specifications Requirements: An automatic dispensing cotton seed treatment system is needed to treat/coat up to 5 lb batches of de-linted cotton seeds with liquid coating agents. System must include: Shall have the ability to treat seed batches from 250g to 5lb. Shall contain a direct drive rotor assembly with a direct drive atomizer and rotor. Shall include an air assist mechanism to prevent batch to batch seed contamination. 4. Shall contain automatic pumping system that controls the dosage and time of treatment. 5. Shall operate on 110 V line current. 6. Shall contain a lid and discharge door system for easy seed loading, seed discharge, and cleaning. 7. Must be designed to minimize worker exposure to treatment chemical and treated seed. 8. Must include safety guards. 9. Must include all necessary tubing, fittings, pumps, dispensers, etc. 10. Must have at least a 1 year warranty on parts and labor.
