The USDA, ARS, Warmwater Aquaculture Research Unit requires a swim tunnel respirometry system to measure metabolism of swimming catfishes from a broad range of sizes. This system should be able to simultaneously change water flow rates (i.e. swimming speed) while measuring and calculating oxygen consumption rates of the fish in the system. This system should be able to be used for channel, blue, and hybrid catfish ranging from 100-650 grams. The equipment is to be delivered to the USDA-ARS, 141 Experiment Station Road, Stoneville, MS 38776. Any quotes not meeting the minimum specifications will not be considered.
