THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The USDA/ARS intends to award a Firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), only one responsible source, to: Biomeme 1015 Chestnut Street, Suite 1401 Philadelphia, PA 19107 Description of Requirement: The objective of this sole source award is to procure the following items: Looking for the following: - Custom Reagents - Mosquito arbovirus 2 - Custom Reagents - Ticks TBEV, Borrelia 2 - Custom Reagents - Pan-plasmodium 2 - Thermocycler 1 (Thermocycler that turns your smartphone into a thermocycler for real-time PCR or isothermal analysis. Needs to be the Gold Standard for molecular detection with the ability to detect and amplify DNA or RNA in various sample types.) - Smartphone 1 (smartphone to run the pre-installed software for the above thermocycler. Needs to have a touch screen that responds to gloves and wet hands.)
