The USDA/ARS intends to award a Firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), only one responsible source, to: Fluidigm 7000 Shoreline Court, Suite 100 South San Francisco, CA 94080 Description of Requirement: The objective of this sole source award is to procure the following items: Fluidigm 96.96 GT Sample/Loading and SNPType reagent kit-10 IFCs Quote Q-48598 AD700 Procurement Request No. 901-6038-050-00620 Specifications: Must be an Integrated Fluidic Circuit (IFC) chip including NanoFlex valve technology Must be compatible with Fluidigm EP1 and Biomark systems Must be compatible with Fluidigm IFC controller HX Must be compatible with Fluidigm FC1 Cycler Must be able to run 96 SNP Type genotype assays by 96 DNA samples Must include syringes of Control Line Fluid for 96.96 IFCs (150 µL each) Must include 2X Assay Loading Reagent Must include GT Sample Loading Reagent The NAICS code for this requirement is 334516; the small business size standard is 1000 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement.
