Performance of Work Statement (PWS) The proposed work to be on site at the Genetics and Sustainable Agriculture Unit. The maintenance for Ion GeneStudio S5 must include at minimum: 1) confirmation of serial number and contract status; 2) Back up data 3) Review system concerns 4) Confirm status of sequencer updated software ECOs/updates; 5) Check software version of sequencer and torrent server; 6) Check all luers and repair; 7) Clean touch screen and verify calibration; 8) Clean fan screen; 9) Replace squid port seals; 10) Clean pogo pins using alcohol; 11) Inspect all fittings in the liquid manifold, cartridge clamp, w2, and w3 for signs of leaks; 12) Inspect the area around the waste port inside the chip housing; 13) Remove the waste container and clean up any signs of spills; 14) Run all factory tests to verify electronics: self test, heaters, valvetest, rfid, analysis test; 15) Check flow rates for waste lines: chip waste, main waste; 16) Pulse clean the sequencer; 17) No data on disks and rebuild disks; 18) Provide training on the instrument using currently accepted protocols and panels The maintenance for Ion GeneStudio S5 must include: 1) confirmation of serial number and contract status; 2) Back up data 3) Review system concerns 4) Confirm status of sequencer updated software ECOs/updates; 5) Visually assess the location of the instrument; 6) Ensure lab bench and clearance requirements; 7) Check software version of torrent suite software; 8) Check the latest ion torrent server release notes and verify software matches; 9) Follow instructions to fill the coolant in the liquid cooling assembly; 10) Replace the reagent tray assembly gaskets and filters; 11) Run factory tests and record results for: sensors, xyz robot, zpump, breaking centrifuge 1, breaking centrifuge 2, loading centrifuge, camera, enrichment, pcr plate, chiller, usb, and network; 12) Perform temperature verification test on the thermal cycler; 13) Clean the centrifuge bowls and rotors with 70% ethanol; 14) Run the xyO calibration; 15) Run z calibration; 16) Run gravimetric test; 17) Provide training on the instrument using currently accepted protocols and panels
