Solicitation Number: 12405B22Q0044 Notice Type: Sources Sought Synopsis: The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service, Stuggart, AR is requesting information regarding the capability to provide annual service agreement for FIAlyzer 2000 flow injection analysis system to include non-consumable parts and labor, 1 service visit, software upgrades and phone, email and remote desktop support. PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES: SERVICE AGREEMENT FOR THE FIALYZER 2000 FLOW INJECTION ANALYIS SYSTEM AT THE STUGGART, AR LOCATION-BASE PLUS 4 OPTION YEARS Work to be performed during the 12-month service contract: One preventative maintenance visit. Work to be performed during the visit: update FIAsoft software to the latest version; change all nuts, ferrules, tubing and back-pressure regulators; clean and inspect the Lab-On-Valve manifold; inspect valve head for leaks; change valve rotor; change pump tension spring as needed; clean flow cells and change windows and seals; inspect fibers for light throughput and damage; leave spare light source bulb as needed; perform system leak test; perform flow rate test; perform precision test. Provide e-mail technical support as needed. Provide telephone technical support as needed. Provide remote desktop support as needed. Provide additional on-site visits with a 72-hour response time at reduced fees. FIAlab Instruments is the proprietary manufacturer of the equipment and developer of the FIAsoft software that runs the equipment covered under the proposed annual service contract renewal. This is a Sources Sought Announcement issued by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for informational and planning purposes only. This is NOT a solicitation, nor is it an announcement for a forthcoming solicitation. Submission of any information in response to this notification is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred in providing a response. Responses to this notification will help to determine the acquisition strategy for any future solicitation. Submission Instructions: Interested vendors are invited to submit a response to this sources sought notification by 3p.m. on Friday, March 11, to the attention of Melissa Santos, Purchasing Agent, melissa.santos@usda.gov. All questions are asked to be submitted in writing to the Primary Point of Contract and will be addressed accordingly. Responses should be no more than 10 pages and include the following information: Organization Name; Contract Name, e-mail address and phone number; Organizations DUNS number; Business size status for the applicable NAICS code; A statement of interest in any forthcoming acquisition. A statement of capability to perform details of the requirement. Interested vendors are instructed to provide only the data requested. No proprietary classified confidential or sensitive information should be included in your response. The Government reserves the right to use any nonproprietary technical information in any resultant solicitation(s). Any additional information will not be reviewed by the USDA.
