The United States Department of Agriculture Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is interested procuring services from vendors that can confirm the identity of bacterial isolates from regulated commodity samples in a shorter time period than the methods presently in use without increasing costs. The scope includes the E. coli, Listeria, Salmonella, and Campylobacter methods performed at all three FSIS Field Service laboratories, as well as Enterococcus spp. and Clostridium perfringens. All RFP questions and clarifications; physical proposal content; and other types of queries shall be submitted, via email, to barbara.nelson@usda.gov the Contract Specialist assigned this action and cc: tracy.pope@usda.gov the Contracting Officer by Monday, August 31, 2020, 2:00pm EST. Responses will be provided not later than Thursday, September 3, 2020. Submit all technical and business proposals, including Pricing which includes Sections B.4.1 through B.4.5, and a signed copy of the SF1449 via email by Monday, September 21, 2020, 2:00pm EST to barbara.nelson@usda.gov and cc: tracy.pope@usda.gov An award is anticipated to be made on or about November 1, 2020 as a result of this RFP to provide the services/supplies.
