The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is anticipating awarding a No-Cost contract for Meeting Planning and Site Selection Services. No appropriated funds are authorized to pay for any services required for this contract - this is a no-cost contract. This contract will be awarded utilizing full and open competition. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 561920. Contractors are required to identify their company's business size. FSIS requires services to assist with site selection and meeting planning accommodations for FSIS meeting and training events. Working with Agency personnel, referred to as Meeting Organizers, the contractor must locate and secure location(s) to conduct meetings and training events for the Agency. The contractor will also provide logistical planning support and services to organize the setup of the meeting room facility, accommodations for participants, audio visual requirements, refreshments (if required), and additional meeting requirements as requested. The contractor shall charge any fee-based services to the entity providing accommodations. FSIS is soliciting proposals from interested parties capable of fulfilling the requirement for meeting planning and site selection services. The successful offeror would be able to plan and manage a variety of events; It is estimated there will be between 70 -120 events per year, in the continental U.S., with events running on average between 4 days through 4 weeks, for approximately 15 - 200 agency employees. Specifications will vary based on the particular event. Interested parties should submit a proposal addressing how they intend to meet the specific requirements as stated in the attached solicitation, and accompanying documentation.

This NOTICE is published to gain knowledge of potential firms capable of providing these services that will be used for laboratory analyses at three Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) labs located at: 1) Eastern Laboratory, 950 College Station Road, Athens, Georgia 30605; 2) Midwestern Laboratory, 4300 Goodfellow Blvd., Bldg. 105D, PO Box 200005, St. Louis, MO 63120-0005; and 3) Western Laboratory, 800 Buchanan Street, Albany, CA 94710. Potential firms with the skills and capabilities necessary to perform the requirement described in the (SOW) below are invited to provide a detailed Capability Statement. Statement of Work: Background The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), a public health regulatory agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), protects consumers by ensuring that meat, poultry and egg products are safe, wholesome, and accurately labeled. Objective/Scope The USDA FSIS needs: Dry ice: 300 pounds per week. Liquid Nitrogen: 450 HP cylinder, at least two refills per week, Telemetry monitoring required Argon: Ultra-High Purity, 5.0 Grade, cylinder size 300, CGA-580, at least 2 cylinders per month Helium: Ultra-High Purity, 5.0 Grade, cylinder size 300, CGA-580, at least 2 cylinders per month Propane: 1 per quarter, PR 33, 32 lb. for forklift Quantities listed above are estimates based on past practices at the Western Laboratory, Albany, CA. The Eastern and Midwestern Laboratories may require all or some of the requirements listed above, in addition to the Western Laboratory.
