Questions about this solicitation are due at 11:00am (EST) on June 8, 2020. The laboratory requires two auto-titration systems, each with a pH titrator and an auto-sampler to accommodate tubes that are ? 50 mL in size. The aminoglycosides method requires an adjustment of each sample extract to a pH of 7.50 ± 0.25, so the pH meter has to have an accuracy of at least 10E-2. In combination, the two auto-titration systems need to be able to analyze up to 48 samples total. The contractor shall supply the lab with two fully integrated auto-titration systems that are capable of titrating up to 24 samples per system, within the same run, with minimal interferences. The system shall have a ? 24 sample auto-sampler rack, capable of holding ?50 mL tubes. Digital electrodes will produce data that will be read automatically into the integrated instrument software. Fixed ground-joint diaphragm electrodes will prevent contamination. The auto-titration systems will include rods and stirring propellers to streamline mixing. The auto-titration systems shall be compact and each fit on an approximately 30” wide existing lab bench/table top. The auto-titration systems should include all necessary supplies and accessories for operation and should be able to connect to a sing computer controller via USB drives. The instruments shall be installed and all factory published specifications for sensitivity demonstrated upon installation. The contractor shall provide warranty service coverage for the auto-titration instruments for at least one year after installation. The warranty service shall include telephone support for hardware and software and supply for the consumable parts during repairs and maintenance. Maintenance/repair services shall be provided during normal working hours, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, local time, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays.
