The following represents the Notice of Intent that will be posted on FedBizOpps.gov. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Food Safety Inspection Service (FSIS) intends to negotiate solely with AB Sciex, LLC, located at 1201 Radio Rd REDWOOD CITY, CA 94065-1217 to obtain two AB Sciex QTrap 6500+ Systems and related parts/training. . The equipment is proprietary to AB Sciex LLC, and AB Sciex is the only known source which can provide the required service to the current requirements. This procurement will be conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 – Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements Citation: 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1). This is not a request for quotations or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. Request for copies of this solicitation will not be honored or acknowledged. The Government does not intend to pay for information received. All interested parties must respond within five (5) calendar days from the date of this notice. Written responses must provide clear and concise documentation indicating your firm’s capability to provide the proprietary services. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to announcement 123A9419Q0012. If no viable responses have been received in response after Saturday, July 20, 2019 10:00 A.M EST to this announcement, USDA/FSIS shall negotiate solely with AB Sciex, LLC.
