Buck Helene Fuels Reduction IRSC
The U.S. Forest Service seeks vendors to conduct hazardous fuels reduction on steep, rugged terrain in Western North Carolina following Hurricane Helene. The work involves manual felling, helicopter yarding of over 300,000 tons of timber, site preparation, and aerial seeding of landslides. The place of performance is various locations in Western North Carolina. The anticipated start date is Late Spring/Early Summer 2026, with performance not to exceed two operational seasons. This RFI is open for only six calendar days due to urgent needs.
