This is a market research request for vendors capable of hazardous fuels reduction on steep terrain in Western North Carolina following Hurricane Helene. The scope involves manual felling, helicopter yarding of over 300,000 tons of timber, site preparation, and aerial seeding. The work will be performed at various locations in Western North Carolina. The anticipated performance period begins in late spring or early summer 2026 and is estimated not to exceed two operational seasons. This RFI will remain open for six calendar days for the submission of capability statements.
