This opportunity is a BPA Call Order under the R2 Rocky Mountain Restoration Project BPA and is restricted to approved eligible companies. Performance is on the Columbine Ranger District of the San Juan National Forest in Colorado for the DH Brockover IRSC portion of Durango Hills Fuels Reduction. The work involves cutting sawtimber-sized trees, removing material meeting Appendix B specifications, and treating resulting slash. Project objectives include reducing fuel loading and high-severity wildfire risk, improving public and firefighter safety, enhancing native wildlife habitat, promoting forest resiliency and age-class diversity, and providing wood products. The performance period runs from date of award through November 30, 2029.
