Alamitos Stewardship SC - R3 Carson National Forest, Camino Real Ranger District
This is a total small business set-aside stewardship contract for post-fire rehabilitation on the Carson National Forest in New Mexico, specifically within the Hermit’s Peak/Calf Canyon fire footprint. The work involves cutting, skidding, processing, and decking approximately 662 acres of fire-killed trees, hauling material to community wood banks, and processing fuelwood for public gathering. Performance will take place in the Camino Real Ranger District, near Peñasco, New Mexico, alongside multiple Forest Service roads. A site visit is scheduled for August 12, 2026, with RSVP due by August 5, 2026. The contract period of performance runs from award through November 15, 2028.
