2027 LaCroix Ranger District IRSCs
The U.S. Forest Service is seeking capability statements from timber operators or fuels contractors for hazardous fuels reduction treatments through timber harvest in difficult-to-access locations on the LaCroix Ranger District of the Superior National Forest in Minnesota. The work involves harvesting approximately 16.8 million board feet of low-value timber across 2,100 acres in four project areas, along with temporary road construction, slash piling, and various service treatments like fuel break establishment and mastication. A solicitation is anticipated to be posted no later than spring 2027, with all work completed by May 2031 if awarded. Performance will take place in four project areas on the LaCroix Ranger District of the Superior National Forest. No budget amount is specified.
