Mechanically remove unmerchantable trees and small diameter hazardous fuels along roadsides to landings to be later burned by FS or chipped/removed from contract area. Fall and leave on slopes over 35 percent slope. Decking and Processing of merchantable trees over 24 inch dbh is required in Mandatory Items 4 and 7 (Beckwourth and Mount Hough Districts), and if awarded Optional Items 5 and 8.
