PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Creek Fire Stump Spring Road Repairs project consists of repairing 18.54 miles of Stump Springs Road. Work to include, but not limited to; installing metal end sections, reconditioning the culverts and all other draining structures along the road, placing base rock to repair ruts, low spots, and grading on turn out areas and shoulders, placing hot mix asphalt to repair potholes, crack filling, place a double chip seal, and painting a double yellow center line, removing all the debris and soil from two catch basins, and traffic control. PROJECT LOCATION: This project is located in the Sierra National Forest on the High Sierra Ranger District Office. From Prather, CA heade east on SR-168, travel 2.5 miles and turn left to stay on SR-168, continue for 19.2 miles and take a slight left onto Huntington Lake Road. After 7.1 miles turn right onto Big Creek Road and travel 1.5 miles until reach the beginning of Stump Spring Road. (37.214616, - 119.257098).
