Description of Requirement The Francis Marion National Forest is soliciting the purchase of 12 tons of 17-17-17 fertilizer to be delivered in 50 pound bags, F.O.B. destination, to it facilities at 1316 Southampton Rd, Huger, SC 29450. The fertilizer must be compatible for application in areas with gravel. Interested businesses should completely fill the RFQ document and return to jason.king2@usda.gov by the indicated time and date. Shipping charges may be included as a dedicated line item, although charges should not exceed the total amount of all requested supplies. This purchase will be a best value award. The awarded business will have NAICS code 325312 in its SAM portfolio or be willing to add the code at the time of award. Delivery Date and Delivery Location The fertilizer will be delivered to the Forest Service’s Francis Marion Seed Orchard, 1316 Southampton Road, Huger, SC 29450. Forest Service personnel will be available to direct delivery personnel to the storage location. The awarded business will be responsible for unloading the fertilizer at the delivery location. There is not a delivery dock or forklift at the delivery location. The delivery is requested by 2/27/2023, although the delivery date may require further arrangement at time of award. The delivery date and time should be scheduled with Danny Carlson (843-887-3257 x 17) at least 2 days prior to delivery.
