Amendment 001 Little Boulder Mastication.pdf Amendment 001 Summary Information Chart Task Order No.docx Description of Work: The scope of this contract is to accomplish work activities such as tree thinning, whole tree removal, processing, decking, mastication, excavator/machine piling, stand improvement, slash treatment, leave tree protection and slash pull-back, chipping, grinding, hauling, fireline/fuelbreak construction, landing cleanup, rehabilitation, stump treatment and other activities related to fuels treatment objectives. The work ordered by the Government under this contract will primarily consist of work requiring the use of heavy machinery and equipment, but may include work that will necessitate the use of manual labor and/or hand crews. Manual labor and/or hand crew work may include (but is not limited to) hand tree thinning, hand piling, slashing/bucking, hand constructed fireline and fuel break and other non-mechanized activities necessary to comply with contract specifications. The Contractor shall furnish everything necessary, including, but not limited to all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies, and incidentals to perform work under this contract. The Contractor shall perform all aspects of the work in an organized, systematic manner, ensuring that the services are completely performed over the entire area(s) specified. Project Specific Scope: Mastication Work - Contact Program Technical for Specifics: Douglas Colaprete (208-816-8862) Project Location: Unit 1 can be accessed from Forest Road 3332, aka Forks Road. To access the Forks Road from Deary, drive east on State Highway 8 for 5-6 miles and turn right (east) onto Forest Road 3332. Drive east on Forest Road 3332 for 1.1 miles to the junction of the 1444 and 3332 roads. The unit is split by the 3332 rd. and is south and west of the 3332 road and East of the 3332 and south of the 1444 rd. Units 2 & 3 are accessed via the 4738 rd. (Old Park Rd), or the 1963 rd. (Park rd.). From Deary, drive east on State Highway 8 for 4 miles and turn right (east) onto Forest Road 1963 (Park rd.). Drive one mile to the 4738 rd. and turn right and drive another .4 miles. Unit 2 is south of the 4738 rd. and Unit 3 is south of Unit 2. See attached vicinity maps.
