This is currently handled by district ranger’s office. Disturbed areas must be backfilled and seeded (per plans/specifications) Awarded contractor will coordinate with district to get a lock into the gate chain accessing swim area access road. Corrected picture for page 17 of 21 will be sent out to interested contractors. Question/Comment 6 The full picture is attached (Sheet 17 of 21 …). Amendment 001: The purpose of this amendment will be to modify Section L-8 FAR 52.236-27 Site Visit (Construction) (FEB) to consolidate all potential visits and clarify solicitation documents. A Site Visit Meeting with the Technical Point of Contact will be held: Thursday, 20 January 2022 at 0900 or 9:00 AM (CST). Location: Scott’s Ridge Boat Ramp 13274 Scotts Ridge Montgomery, TX 77356 Project Summary Description: At both the Boat Ramp Area and Swim Area, the contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and supplies to fully repair the following at the Scott’s Ridge Recreation Area located on the Sam Houston Ranger District, Lake Conroe. Please reference “Scott’s Ridge Overview” at the end of this document for an aerial map and location/description of repairs and pictures of the current damages. Per direction from the Scott’s Ridge Overview, the contractor shall remove, repair, and replace in part or all of the timber Bulkhead along Lake Conroe lakeshore in compliance with design and specifications provided by the USDA Forest Service. 2. The contractor shall backfill, seed and fertilize all disturbed areas following the attached seeding schedule. 3. Contractor shall start repair work at boat ramp area first. Swim area is under special use permit for the beach area to a pipeline company until Jan 6, 2022. Any refuse generated from this project shall be disposed of in accordance with all state and federal laws and regulations off Forest Service land(s). The contractor shall seed and fertilize and grade all disturbed areas to match the adjacent area(s) and to adequately drain all in accordance to the specifications herein or referenced on the drawings. Contractor is responsible for any fill needed to restore the disturbed sites back to grade. CONTRACTOR USE OF SITE AND PREMISES: Contractor may use on-site power, water, and vault toilet facilities if available. Government or Owner refers to the USDA Forest Service. Contracting Officer (CO) refers to the person assigned by the USDA Forest Service to administer the Contract. Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) refers to the person designated in writing by the CO to be the on-site Government Representative. Inspector refers to person designated by (COR) to be on the site Representative of the (COR).
