The due date for quotes is September 28, 2020 @ 11:00 AM Eastern Time The USDA Forest Service intends to issue a Request for Quotation for Crop Tree Release, Site Prep and Stand Tending. Work will be performed on multiple Ranger Districts of the George Washington & Jefferson National Forests in VA and WV as follows: North River Ranger District: Crop Tree Release: 245 acres in VA, 175 acres in WV Eastern Divide Ranger District: Crop Tree Release: Release 4,215 marked trees on 226 acres in VA Glenwood & Pedlar Ranger Districts: Site Prep: 76 acres in VA Stand Tending: 87 acres in VA The Contractor will be required to furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform the work. Work shall be accomplished by hand with the use of chainsaws or other handheld devices. All work is to comply with local, Federal and State codes and is subject to applicable wage rates. NOTIFICATION OF REQUEST FOR QUOTATION 12339520Q0016 PROJECT DESCRIPTION/LOCATION: Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation and supplies necessary to perform Non Native Invasive Species (NNIS) control by mechanical removal with equipment and by foliar spray application of herbicide on the George Washington & Jefferson NFs. Locations are on the North River Ranger District in Rockingham county VA and Pendleton county WV and on the Lee Ranger District, in Hardy county WV.
