PROJECT TITLE: Sherando Lake Garbage Collection Service This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Part 12 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This solicitation, identified as 12339520Q0008, is issued as a Request for Quotation using simplified acquisition procedures. Issue date of this combined synopsis/solicitation is March 6, 2020. SET-ASIDE: This solicitation is Total Small-Business Set-Aside. The applicable NAICS code is 562111; the applicable small business size standard $41.5 million. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: Furnish and Service six (6) bear proof/resistant dumpsters and also service two (2) Forest Service owned dumpsters at Sherando Lake Recreation Area located on the George Washington & Jefferson National Forests in Virginia. GOVERNMENT ESTIMATE: The Government estimate for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000 (for Base Year and 2 Option Years combined). This does not mean that our estimate for the price of the work falls anywhere within that range; it means that our estimate is an actual number that lies at a specific point between those two values.
