NOTIFICATION OF REQUEST FOR QUOTATION 12339519Q0028 PROJECT INFORMATION/LOCATION: Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation and supplies necessary to perform Crop Tree Release on the George Washington & Jefferson NFs, Glenwood & Pedlar Ranger Districts and the James River & Warm Springs Ranger Districts, in Amherst, Alleghany and Bath counties in Virginia. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: Successful offeror shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to identify and release crop trees utilizing chainsaws or other handheld tools. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Contract time will be 30 calendar days from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed for the Glenwood & Pedlar project area and 60 calendar days from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed for the James River and Warm Springs project area. SITE VISIT INFORMATION: A pre-quote site visit/information meeting IS NOT scheduled. A meeting will only be conducted if interested bidders express a desire to have one. If you are interested in a site visit/information meeting you must contact Genny Kotyk at 540-291-2188 before June 18, 2019 in order for a meeting to be scheduled. CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS: Contractor must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at the following website: www.sam.gov to be awarded a contract resulting from this solicitation. Registration is this system is free. Assistance is available to help contractors register in SAM. Contact the Contracting Officer for additional information. SET-ASIDE: This procurement is set-aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code for this project is 115310 and the size standard is $7.5 million. PAYMENT PROTECTION INFORMATION: No bonds required. Quotations must be submitted by June 28, 2019 at 1:00 pm. Award will be made based on the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered (See Section M of the RFQ document).
