The USDA Agricultural Research Service, National Centers for Animal Health, is conducting a Sources Sought notice only—not a solicitation or RFQ—to assess qualified sources’ availability and capability for delivering liquid propane to sixteen 1,000-gallon tanks at ten locations on its approximately 520-acre campus in Ames, Iowa (1920 Dayton Ave, Ames, IA 50010). This market research will help the government determine the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible, and the government does not intend to make an award based on responses. Interested businesses, including small business and various socioeconomic categories, should submit capability statements covering their ability to provide the service, SBA size standards, at least three similar past requirements with contract type/delivery method/duration, and other relevant information. Responses should not include proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information or pricing. After review of responses, a combined synopsis/solicitation may be published on sam.gov depending on the responses received.
