Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5)

The government intends to solicit quotations directly from selected suppliers under simplified acquisition procedures for one new compact wheel loader, with no public solicitation posted; this is a Small Business Set-Aside using a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable evaluation. The loader must be delivered fully operational and suitable for earth-moving and excavating, and the Wacker WL250 is identified as a known acceptable product, with brand-name-or-equal offers allowed if they meet or exceed salient characteristics. Delivery is FOB Destination no later than December 31, 2026, to USDA-ARS Northern Plains Agricultural Research Service, 1500 North Central Avenue, Sidney, Montana 59270. The equipment must include the manufacturer’s standard commercial warranty, and quoters must identify an OEM-authorized warranty repair facility within 100 miles of Sidney, Montana.
