Employee Entrance, National Agricultural Library 10301 Baltimore Ave,Beltsville, MD 20705 The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), National Agricultural Library (NAL) requires a contractor to replace existing pneumatic actuators with electric actuators for several devices. Existing BAS points will be repurposed and re-used for new electric actuators. Valve bodies will remain as-is. Only actuators will be replaced. New power and signal wiring will be provided and installed from existing BAS panels to the locations of the new electronic valve actuators. The air compressor located next to the boilers will be electrically and mechanically disconnected. Pneumatic piping from the compressor to the nearest column will be demolished. The air compressor will be removed for disposal.
