The U.S. Forest Service seeks proposals for thirty-three Type 6 fire engines, body only configuration, to be installed on Government-furnished 4x4 cab and chassis. The scope includes chassis modifications, installation of the fire body, pump, 300-gallon water tank, warning lights, graphics, and all components needed for a complete operational unit. Apparatus must meet Forest Service national specifications, including NFPA 1900 compliance unless otherwise specified. The proposal must include delivery of each unit and on-site familiarization training. Vendors need to demonstrate their capability to meet USFS requirements.
