The US Forest Service, National Technology and Development Program (NTDP), wildland fire chemicals program has a need to test aquatic and mammalian toxicity on different fire retardants that have comingled. Toxicity testing is a test requirement of FS 5100-304d. These results will help screen for any environmental or human health safety concerns of co-mingled products in an operational setting.
