The attached Solicitation Package has been updated, however, there are no amended SF-1449s - only original. Amendment 001 was to extend the response date from 3/22/2022 to 3/28/2022 5:00 p.m. MST for solicitation submittals. Questions and Answers are posted today, March 22, 2022. (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), RFQ No.:12318722Q0058. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) No.: 2022-02. (iv) This procurement is set aside for 100% Total Small Business. The NAICS code is 333914 (Measuring, Dispensing, and Other Pumping Equipment Manufacturing) and the Small Business Size Standard is 750 in number of employees. (v) The Government intends to award a single, firm fixed-price contract to the responsible offeror whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous and the best value to the Government. (vi) Instructions to Offerors and Evaluation Factors begin on page 21 in the attached Solicitation Package. (vii) The anticipated period of performance of this contract is: April 18, 2022 –September 30, 2023 (viii) The Service Contract Act (SCA) is applicable to this requirement. Due to the unknown location where work will be performed, a wage determination is not attached. Contractors may click on the link provided to determine what mandatory minimum wage shall be for contractor employees located within any given geographical location. The appropriate wage determination(s) applicable to the geographic locations identified by the successful bidder will be incorporated into the resultant contract. The Government is performing market research primarily to assess the number of small business firms with the capability to execute the requirements in the attached Statement of Work (SOW) and National Technology and Development Center (NTDP) Specification for a Type 7 Slip-on unit.
