The SSWSF program is seeking a vendor to provide Iridium throughput services for the 204 actively transmitting radios, which will require a base-plan of at least 12,000 bytes of data per month, and additional funding for sites that exceed the 12,000 byte per month threshold, per terms of variable data usage fees. In addition, the SSWSF program has 38 Iridium radios in inventory that should be placed in “standby” status and able to be activated within 2 business days of request. This inventory is necessary for radio replacements, upgrades, and new site installations.
