The Office of Human Resources Management has a requirement for an USDA Enterprise Human Resource (HR) Self-Service Dashboard (SSD) and Retirement Benefits Processor (RBP) to support the entire Human Resources self-service and retirement process continuum. The service will be an online, web-based transactional processing system that will be used by all USDA employees and HR personnel to manage their own HR transactions and applications as well as allow employees and HR benefits officers to create retirement benefits estimates. One of the primary services administered by the Office of Human Resources Management is the Employee Benefits programs. The mission of the Employee Benefits Program is to provide expert advice and assistance to all levels of USDA staff and management, especially HR Benefits Officers and Retirement Counselors, so they are better able to meet their Employee Benefits obligations while accomplishing the program goals of their Mission Areas and Offices.
