Whitten Building, a historically significant federal building, requires professional exterior cleaning services to maintain its appearance, preserve the integrity of its façade, and comply with historical preservation standards. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, and disposal services necessary to clean, repair and restore the exterior surfaces of the Jamie L. Whitten Building. All repairs, restoration and cleaning must be performed in accordance with historic preservation guidelines and industry best practices. Currently, the Government Employees Services Division (GESD), Training and Communications Branch (TCB) staff utilizes Author-It for the creation of all documentation for which TCB retains responsibility, namely, procedural manuals, training guides, bulletins, the Red Sheet process, and online help for all stakeholders (USDA Agencies) and their users.
