This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number: 12305B24Q0144 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-05. This solicitation is unrestricted Full and Open. This requirement will be solicited as a commercial service in accordance with FAR Part 12. The solicitation document, with the incorporated clauses and provisions, is issued in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516 (Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing); small business size standard in 1,000 employees Line-item number(s) and items, quantities, and units of measure: See Price List Below. Description of requirements for the items to be acquired: The contractor shall provide all services including labor, materials, supplies, supervision, tools, equipment, transportation, and insurance necessary to provide eleven (11) glass bioreactors with a volume of less than <200 ml (milliliter) that includes Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) lids that can be fitted and used with the current SHIME® computer-controlled panel. These glass bioreactors and lids must be 100% compatible with the current SHIME® system, including appropriate fitting sizes on the lids that are compatible with the SHIME® potential hydrogen(pH) probes and tubing used to feed the system, a functioning double layered water jacket compatible with the circulating water bath, and capable of maintaining agitation using a magnetic stirrer. SELECTION PROCESS: The Quotes will be evaluated using a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection. Only those quotes determined to be technically acceptable will be considered for award. REJECTION OF QUOTATION: Failure to demonstrate compliance will cause rejection of quote without further discussions. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered.
