This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations/offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation 12305B22R0016-- is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Solicitation 12305B22R0016-- and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circulation FAC 2022-07. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) issues this Request for Quotes (RFQ) for Single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) genotyping, microsatellite testing, and DNA extraction from Atlantic salmon tissues. The Period of Performance is for a one-year base period with four one-year option periods. This requirement will be solicited as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12. Services shall be furnished via an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The solicitation document, with the incorporated clauses and provisions, is issued in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services. The small business size standard is $16.5. This requirement is a total small business set-aside The source selection process to be utilized for this acquisition is best value/trade-off.
