This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Northeast Area (NEA) issues this Request for Quotes (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through FAC 2022-04. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 335122 Commercial, Industrial, and Institutional Electric Lighting Fixture Manufacturing; small business size standard is 500 Employees. Project Summary: The USDA, ARS, Plant Genetic Resource Unit requires an upgraded greenhouse LED lighting system suitable for production of vigorous high-quality hemp and vegetable plant genetic resources. The USDA, PGRU location has both a service and research component requiring production of plant materials for routine regeneration and evaluation of crop genetic resources. Delivery is required within 30 days after the effective date of the purchase order. The Government intends to award a Firm fixed-price contract. SELECTION PROCESS: Pending availability of funding, the basis for any potential award is BE MOST ADVANTAGEOUS TO THE GOVERNMENT, PRICE AND OTHER FACTORS CONSIDERED.
