The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Center, Adaptive Cropping Systems Laboratory (ACSL), Beltsville, Maryland., requires a contractor to provide a Rugged Field-Portable Hyperspectral Spectrometer-OCTO-Flox System. The primary objective of issuing this Sources Sought Notice is to seek information from vendors with the capability of providing a Rugged Field-Portable Hyperspectral Spectrometer- OCTO-Flox System. The spectrometer must be capable of automated, high temporal and spectral resolution measurements of green (520 nm) to far-red (890 nm) wavelengths required for scientific research needs to obtain simultaneous measurements of the photochemical reflectance index, near-infrared reflectance of vegetation, and the full emission spectrum of chlorophyll fluorescence.
