Replace approximately 20 feet of high-pressure steam pipe and associated condensate pipe located in a grass area between buildings 012 and 014. Option line item 1 is to replace 10 feet of storm drain located outside of building 012 within the steam pit. Solicitation 12305B21R0028 is issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP). The solicitation document, with the incorporated clauses and provisions, is issued in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 13 and 36 and will be incorporated in the awarded firm-fixed price order. Find the sewer beneath the concrete and examine it for any breakage or cracks. If the sewer is broken repair the break repairs should be made with ductile iron and mechanical joints. The NAICS code is 238190 Other Foundation, Structure, and Building Exterior Contractors The size standard is $16.5 Million As part of its market research, USDA ARS is issuing this RFI notice to determine if there exist an adequate number of qualified interested contractors capable of providing the requirement.
