The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) has a requirement to replace the 258 Ton York Chiller #2 and Optional Chiller #1 with a more energy efficient Daikin Dual Compressor Magnetic Centrifugal Water Cooled 258-Ton Chiller at the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center (BARC), building 001. Solicitation 12305B21R0010 is issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP). The small business size standard is $16.5 million. Magnitude of Construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. Period of performance is 142 days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Bonds: Bid, Payment, and Performance Bonds are required. Failure to furnish the required bid guarantee in the proper form and amount, by the time set for opening of proposals, shall require rejection of the proposal in all cases except those listed in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 28.101-4.
